What makes you love a certain song? The very first thing that a song can catch my attention is the message it wants to convey. If it suits my mood, agrees with what I believe in then the melody would be an added bonus only. It is important that we do understand the substance of the songs we sing or we keep on playing on whatever media device we have. It can play a very important role in our lives. It can influence us and take part on the mood we want to have for the day.
Once we heard the song, it will reach our hearts, convince our minds that yes… this is it and that is why. It may command our eyes to cry, our lips to smile or our body to dance. It can motivate us to work enthusiastically but it can ruin our day too by making us feel so down as if we have lost the whole world.
Well, as much as we love songs, we can overpower these products of sound and poetry. We can control them before it can control us. Besides, we can pick the songs we want to hear. That is why we have playlist, we have the tuning and we have the stop or play option. I love songs that can make me strong. Songs that can make me say I can and I will. It may sound weird but for me, my playlist is just like a friend saying go girl… you can make it. I may be alone here in my room but when I play songs like that, there is a feeling of security that everything will be fine soon.
Simple choices we made everyday yet can change our lives to have a better today and tomorrow. So…. what is your song now?
